CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES: DC WONDER WOMAN VIRTUAL RUN OFFERS FUN ACTIVITY FOR FANS AND FAMILIES DURING SOCIAL DISTANCING ERA
Rugged Races in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and DC are pleased to announce that the DC Wonder Woman Virtual Run is now open for registration. After doing their part and staying inside, families and individuals will find that the virtual run is a great way to get moving and bring some of Wonder Woman’s unconquerable warrior spirit into their lives.
Unlike a normal road race where thousands of people run the same route at the same time, the Wonder Woman Virtual Run will allow participants to run a 5K or 10K whenever and wherever they want, outside or even on a home treadmill. Each person designs their own route, chooses a day with perfect weather to run it, dresses up in Wonder Woman style (optional), runs, and submits the finish time online.
Registered participants will receive an exclusive collection of Wonder Woman-branded gear, including a premium quarter-zip pullover, finisher’s medal, terry cloth wristbands, and a reusable tote bag. Participants are encouraged to join the DC Wonder Woman Virtual Run Facebook community at facebook.com/DCWonderWomanRun/ to share motivational stories, finish times, and photos.
WBCP encourages everyone to share the fun, dress up as a favorite DC Super Hero and bring joy to the community as you walk or run, while maintaining social distancing.
Online registration opened June 1 and goes through Nov. 1, 2020
